Okay, so I was watching Yu-Gi-Oh season 5 episode 18 and Tea said something about the group sticking together through trouble for the past four years. Four years. So that got me curious as to how old everybody really is. Ready for a mindfuck?
- At the debut of the show, Yugi was a second year in senior high school. Therefore he was either 16 or 17 (for argument's sake, I'm going with 16). Since they're all in the same year, it's likely that his little group of friends are the same age.
- If the "dangerous adventures" truly began at the debut of the show, that means that four years have passed since then. So they're all around 19-20 years old in season 5.
I feel a little less like a pedophile now.
